Can an owner sell a house while tenants are living there and there lease isn't up for 4 more months?

Can an owner sell a house while tenants are living there and there lease isn't up for 4 more months? Can the owner legally show the house while tenants are living there inconveniencing them to continually have people coming in to look at the house? Shouldn't they by law have to wait till the tenants move out when the lease is up? We moved in 7 months ago on a 1 yr lease,the owner decides to sell the house one weekend and now I have the Realtor calling daily to want to show the house we are renting . This is getting to be too much.% of us live here and work different schedules so the inconvenience of this is over whelming. Is there anything that says the owner has to honer the lease and sell,show the house after we move out??/ help pleasee...
