Should Pvt. Bradley Manning be allowed to live?

He may be revealing crimes, but is that okay for him to give top secret military information away. And why did he do it? Was it for monetary gains, or was it out of spite. I do know that it wasn't done because he loves his country, because if you love something enough you just don't give away their dirty little secrets.
