My friend wants me to change who i am and I really don't want to?

I have a daughter who sounds just like you.She is eccentric,loud and is so forthright with her comments,she makes her friends cringe...but THAT s WHO SHE IS!......BUT,she has lost many friends because of it...her joking always seems to backfire on her..you dont have to change yourself..just your manner...and try and cool it..I know its hard to change..and why should you.but if you want to keep your friend...dont say or do embaring things around her.
