Catholics who accept evolution: Exactly how do you square it with Adam and Eve?

According to evolution, all of mankind descended from the same earthworm. There is no Adam, no Eve, no Garden of Eden, no nothing. So do you accept then that the Bible is full of fibs, hoaxes and outright lies?
