How can i reduce the life of my iPod battery?

An iPod battery's life is about 400 full charges (meaning if it wore down completely and was recharged completely). Playing video on auto-repeat with the backlight on (set to maximum brightness) and the volume on high is what will wear down the battery the most, but not if it's plugged in.
