How do you enlarge mathematically 1/4 inch scale to 1 inch scale for dollhouse?
My esteemed colleagues are making this harder than it has to be. This is really simple: just take each measurement in 1/4" scale (the REAL-WORLD measurement, not the SCALE measurement), and multiply by 4, or in the case of half-inch scale, by two. That is, if the living room on your dollhouse plan has one wall which is four inches (sixteen scale feet), then you multiply the REAL-WORLD dimension (four inches) by four, and you get 16 inches (in one-inch scale) or by two, getting 8 inches (in half-inch scale). Got it?
