I do demos in pet stores, my boss did nothing about an issue in the store?

and neither did my company so I emailed the pet store about it. They did not disclose to me beforehand that they would tattle tale on me for emailing them to my own boss. Isnt this a violation of privacy and disclosure laws? Can I not sue the pet store for violating my privacy?
