Is there a career for people who are sympathetic and empathetic?

Help i dont know what career i want to be. Here are some of my characteristics. I love to help people when they are sad but not sick. Im happy when i see people happy. I love to go shopping and trying on clothes. I love to sing. I love listening to peoples problems. I love watching tv shows like drama, reality, and shows from the music channels like Mtv, VH1, and BET. I love to make people laugh. I love being on the internet...lol. I love listening to music. Oh my favorite subjects are history and english. I think thats all i can think of. What career should i be??? Any ideas??? Websites could help too if you have any.
