What do I say when someone says "Thank you for your service."?

I just went to basic a month ago, we got 2 weeks off for exodus and while at the airport I was in my ACU's and so many people were like "Thank you for your service" and I wanna say "Your welcome" but I'm afraid I'll sound like a , what do I say?
