Is my baby bird dead?

my parakeet had fertile eggs about 3 weeks ago, i have been incubating them well and turning them every so often. but today the lamp got knocked too close to the eggs and when i got home they felt warm. not hot but when i put them to my lips it was like they were just a little too hot. do you think they're dead? (they were in the incubator for about 6 hours before i noticed.
